Manu Akatsa is a documentary filmmaker, cinematographer, and animator with a passion for natural history and cultural preservation. Akatsa's work captures the beauty and complexity of the natural world around us, while also highlighting the importance of preserving our planet's rich natural and cultural heritage.​

He's worked with film productions from all over the world, and has managed to capture some amazing sequences while working closely with specialist filming drivers and field directors.

He is proficient with RED, Arri, Sony, Canon , Phantom, DJI camera systems and has racked up plenty of hours filming long lens sequences with the CN20, Gimbals, Timelapse systems, Camera Traps and Sliders.

 

Manu is also a licensed drone pilot with experience both in Single & Dual Operation on the Inspire 2 & 3 and FPV drones.
